Thoth.cards is a tool I created to help me remember the correspondences for each card of the Thoth tarot deck. I've decided to make it public in case someone else might benefit from it.
Not everyone chooses to read the Thoth using the traditional correspondences. This site will be most useful for those who do, or who would otherwise benefit from a handy reference. For now, this is intended to be a broad reference, and I won't spend much time discussing the history of the deck or going into great detail on the components. I'd like to in the future, but there are much better sources than me available in the mean time. Look at the Links and Reading sections for examples of such sources.
Reading the Thoth tarot using the traditional correspondences combines knowledge from several areas of occult study. They're not all necessary to get started, but at least some familiarity with each will greatly increase the experience.
I make no claims of being an expert at the Thoth Tarot or esotericism. Indeed, I'm only just beginning my journey. These subjects have helped me understand more about myself, my mind and some small part of the nature of our existence. I appreciate feedback, either positive or negative, and I hope this tool can be of some use to you.
